I am in Green Bay came in yesterday morning. Mom, Deb, Cheryl and I drove up to DC and spent the day playing. we stopped at a place called handsonart.com where there are 4 different studios that you can pick and make stuff I wanted to do the glass studio but it was too full of people so we did pottery-they have green ceramics you paint and make pretty and they fire it and mail it to you or you can pick it up.
I made a bowl a nice size one for my fruits & veggies i like to keep out. From there we went to fish creek had lunch hit a few stores then worked out way back down to GB.
A few winery's later and a stop at an awesome cheese shop, we arrived back home and have some brats on the grill with a few of our wine purchases.
I had the pleasure of educating Cheryl into wine-our virgin-it was fun using my wine knowledge with someone that really wanted to hear what i had to say & offer. She purchased a few bottles and as a newbie- we all bought her something for her new addiction. I bought her a wine stopper with a pair of legs sticking out, mom made her a wine charm and Deb bought her a magnet that says 'who let the girls out-door county'
today will be spent floating in the lake and being lazy cause it is summer and i am on vacation.
